Custom Website Design for J.G. Rocket Band
The Goal
The J. G. Rocket Band wanted a website that reflected the energy and personality of the band while still feeling clean, approachable, and easy to navigate. One of the biggest priorities for this project was avoiding the overly dark aesthetic commonly seen on many musician websites while still maintaining strong visual contrast and a bold stage presence.
The Design Strategy
To help capture the band’s Country Rock identity, I developed a custom color palette featuring blacks, tans, burnt orange, reds, and subtle touches of teal. The design focused on balancing warmth, personality, and readability while creating plenty of visual space throughout the site.
The layout was intentionally kept clean and organized so visitors could quickly learn about the band, browse media, and view upcoming performances without feeling overwhelmed.

The website was built on Wix and designed to function smoothly across a variety of screen sizes and devices.
